COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITIES
Patient Art Exhibit
In 2003, the SID partnered with the Coalition of Skin Diseases, a non-profit organization of 24 patient advocacy groups, to produce an art exhibit entitled, "The Layers of Skin Disease." Over a dozen works of art were submitted by patients suffering from skin disease and were displayed in a special area at the SID Annual Meeting. The exhibit continues to be well received and has grown dramatically through 2008. The SID seeks a corporate partner to underwrite costs associated with expanding and producing this exhibition for 2010 and to ensure that it becomes a permanent fixture for all future SID Annual Meetings. The artwork will soon be featured on a series of covers of The Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID), providing another commerical support opportunity for your company.
