Many members have chosen to establish an endowment fund to support annual awards, prizes or fellowships to honor or memorialize a friend, colleague or family member or to ensure their own legacy.  While membership dues and Annual Meeting revenue provide an important source of yearly support for the SID, endowments generate a permanent source of enduring support that is vital to the long-term financial health of the SID and to its ability to maintain high-quality educational programs.  SID members may wish to establish a named endowment fund to provide general support for educational programming or to provide specific support for a designated program.  Endowments provide perpetual recognition and offer a very meaningful way to support the SID.
