Webcasts of the SID Basics of Skin:  Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology Course, offered in Miami in December of 2007, is available for purchase online.  You can access the lectures in packages based on category or view the entire course via the web!  Or purchase the lectures on DVD.

This program is specially designed for:

• Scientists working in both public and private research in the sectors of drug discovery, product development and clinical research

• PhDs transitioning into cutaneous biology research from other disciplines

• Pharmaceutical professionals in strategic marketing or intellectual property

Attendees will join the SID and a distinguished faculty for a comprehensive course exploring topics such as the structure and function of human skin, immunology, major skin pathologies, principles of drug delivery and skin metabolism.

The course provides a solid understanding of the skin, skin disorders and how therapeutics work within the dermal environment. Attendees also have a chance to interact and network with peers, as well as faculty representing institutions across the country during networking opportunities, break-out sessions and workshops.
