The SID is committed to helping young investigators navigate the pathway to a successful career in research. To that end, a variety of reference materials are shared during educational programs, including the Resident and PhD Retreats, and the Trainee Symposium.
These documents contain information on NIH funding sources such as K and R Awards, finding a mentor, and engaging in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. We will update the postings periodically and welcome feedback/suggestions on what else would be useful to trainees.
