Description:
The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco is conducting a search for an academically-interested medical dermatologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The ideal candidate will have an interest in medical education and eventual leadership in the training of dermatology residents, preferably with some experience in issues of health equity. The position will focus clinically on outpatient medical dermatology, which will involve direct delivery of clinical care at our Mount Zion campus as well as our Berkeley outpatient clinic site (BOPC), and other sites as needed. The opportunity also includes approximately one half day per week supervising residents and students in the dermatology teaching clinics at the Mt. Zion campus. outpatient clinics of two types: 1) Clinics with direct teaching of residents and medical students, and 2) direct delivery of outpatient dermatology services at Mount Zion campus and BOPC.

Requirements:
The chosen candidate must be board certified or eligible in Dermatology, or enrolled in the final year of a dermatology residency which will lead to board eligibility by July, 2021. The chosen candidate must be board certified or eligible in Dermatology at time of appointment.

Candidates are required to hold a MD, or MD/PhD degree.
