The Shain lab is seeking to fill an open position for a postdoctoral scholar. Our laboratory uses a variety of -omic technologies to better understand the biology of skin cancer. For this position, the postdoctoral scholar will utilize multi-omic approaches to better understand the biology of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. Examples of the type of sequencing technologies are illustrated in recent publications from the lab, shown below.

Requirements:
The candidate MUST be interested and enthusiastic about the proposed work and the overarching work in our laboratory. Familiarity with the analysis of high-throughput datasets, including programming experience is desired. Previous experience in the field of genetics, cancer biology, and/or bioinformatics is also desired.
